THE Plan!

This action research plan has evolved and changed from the onset of this course. I was given tools to help me determine my wonderings, narrow down the topic, and construct a workable and realistic plan. Included in the plan is a clause which states that monitoring of each outcome will be ongoing and necessary adjustments will be made as needed.
This is my plan (click on the plan for a larger view):

  1. I see a number of excellent features in your action research plan. First, the ongoing support and "refresher" training your team will provide to participating teachers will keep teachers on track with using the new technology in their classrooms. Second, I like that you have the teachers collaborate on common assessments-- which I believe will be created, rather than selected, by teachers. Third, I see that you plan to share results with students! Students should never be left "out of the loop" when it comes to the success of any instructional project. I hope you plan to share your findings with parents, as well. The will love to know how students are learning in new ways. I'm sure they will want to try Google Earth at home, too.

I think one of the best things about your plan is its simplicity. I can get a sense of your entire plan at a single viewing. I wish I could condense a complicated process as effectively as you have done.

I haven't really read enough of your blog to completely understand how you plan to use Google Earth for Spanish instruction. Well, back to your blog to find out more.

  3. First of all, I love the profile picture! That is a great picture of you!

Your action research plan is well thought out and easy to read. I like that your plan is specific to you and to what you teach. Ongoing technical support and training throughout the year for you teachers is so important, so I 'm glad to see that in your plan. I also like that you have involved the students because after all, they are why we do what we do.
